COMPENSATION:
Compensation for roles at THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.

Calculated Hourly Range for role Substance Abuse Counselors:
State- California - $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS
This is a part time with Benefits Counselor position. (32 hours) Shifts are 8-hours, 5 days per week, and are overtime eligible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE COUNSELOR:•Conduct individual counseling sessions and group or family sessions as scheduled and document as required.•Facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.•Responsible for initial assessments, as well as follow up assessment for client.•Prepare individual treatment plan for each assigned client.•Evaluate the needs of the client and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities is needed.EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALLING REQUIREMENTS:•Bachelor's degree in social or health services field preferred•Licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor, as required by CaliforniaPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Personal experience serving in military or has 1 or more years' experience working with veterans.
