Job Summary:

The individual will perform ‘agile’ task/assignment management in direct support of a configuration auditing team for servers/workstations on the Air Force Network (AFNET). The individual may also support modifications and upgrades to services on the AFNET by leading or overseeing projects on behalf of the auditing team.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the auditing team’s task organization methodology and associated software.

• Conduct audits/verifications of server configurations and security settings on the AFNET.

• Provide reports on deviations from established server baseline configurations, including significant observations or noncompliance with baselines.

• Provide and implement improvement recommendations to improve/optimize auditing functions/reports.

• Design, build, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts which support auditing of AFNET Servers.

• Innovate auditing methods and capabilities where possible.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• An active SECRET clearance.

• 8 years of IT experience (A BS/BA degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience).

• Certificates: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (Security+) certification and associated CE certificate.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior DoD or USAF working environment experience a plus.

• Scripting experience: PowerShell.

• Experience with Active Directory.

• Ability to organize and prioritize team tasks.

• Ability to work well with others, in teams and independently/self-motivated.

• Familiarity of IA controls.

• Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills.

Posted Salary Range

$80,000-$90,000
