Job Description

Install, configure, and manage various network devices and services, ensuring functionality and efficiency across multisite environments.

Ensure network devices and infrastructure meet DoD compliance standards by implementing security and hardening for firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking components.

Configure and support networking solutions for hybrid cloud environments, particularly with Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Provide support and oversight for network infrastructure, taking ownership of networking technologies across multiple sites.

Manage the network firewall security platform, overseeing configuration, planning, administration, and monitoring in collaboration with managed service vendors.

Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment, configuration, and automation of enterprise cloud environments.

Perform continuous monitoring and troubleshooting using diagnostic and analytic tools to maintain network health and security.

Interface multi-cloud networking with physical network infrastructure to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Skills and Requirements

Experience in network engineering, specifically with layer 2 and layer 3 network architecture.

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance granted by the US Government. Active Secret clearance preferred.

Must obtain one of the following IAT/IAM Level 2 (or higher) certifications prior to starting. Examples of these certifications include:

IAT: CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, Security+, CASP, CCNP, CISA, CISSP (or Associate)

IAM: CGRC, CASP, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), CCISO, CISM

Must obtain an accredited cloud, networking, or similar certification prior to starting.

Experience with hybrid cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure or AWS.

Proven experience configuring, managing, and administering network firewall security platforms.

Proficiency with monitoring, diagnostic, and network analytic tools.

Proficiency in configuring, securing, and hardening networking devices, such as firewalls, switches, and routers, Active IAT/IAM Level 2 (or higher) certification.

Active cloud, networking, or similar certification.

Hands-on experience with multi-cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments, including seamless integration of physical network infrastructure in platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.
