The Cardio Pulmonary unit offers self scheduling with only 3 weekend shifts (Sat OR Sun) per 6 week time block!

  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000

  • Night shift differential: $7.00/hr (weekend) and $4.00/hr (weekday)

  • Tuition stipend of $5250 per year

What you will do:

The Cardiac-Pulmonary unit at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital provides nursing care to a diverse patient population with complex health conditions. This unique opportunity affords building skills in telemetry, medically complex, and ventilated patient populations.

Train for the following certifications:

  • Telemetry

  • Code blue

  • ACLS

Develop the following skills:

  • Ventilators

  • Trach care

  • Peritoneal Dialysis

  • Blood administration

  • IV placement

  • Wound care

  • Bi-Paps and C-paps

  • Reading telemetries

What you will need:

  • New York State RN License

  • Associates Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast paced environment

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Pay Range:$35.00 - $49.95 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
