Job Description Summary

The O&M Operations Director is responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency within the global O&M team. This role involves overseeing site team performance, developing and implementing effective staffing strategies, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to support our strategic priorities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of leadership, influencing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Essential Responsibilities

As the O&M Operations Director, you will:

  • Facilitate the Global O&M team operating rhythm for all priorities including Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost

  • Support team communications including all hands, Monthly operating reviews and newsletters.

  • Oversee the performance of global site teams, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company standards.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation and workload distribution across sites.

  • Maintain the global staffing model for all services sites/hubs in support of O&M goals including faster Response time, RTS time and crew efficiency

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

  • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure site performance, operational efficiency, and overall business objectives including RTS and Ontime Maintenance.

  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Communicate KPI results to leadership and stakeholders, providing actionable insights.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and labor suppliers,

  • Effectively communicate operational performance and strategies to stakeholders.

  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, lean kaizens, and implement productivity programs.

  • Support implementation of safety processes and procedures that ensure a Zero Harm environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a field services leadership role)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a field services managerial role

Eligibility Requirements

  • Ability and willingness for Global travel up to 15% of the time

  • Ability to and maintain a valid driver's license and willingness to submit to a check of driving record

  • Ability, willingness, and adaptability to take initiative and work without direct supervision

  • Advanced computer skills utilizing word and spreadsheet processing, e-mail programs, facility control and management systems, and computer diagnostic and troubleshooting tools

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams

  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

The salary range for this position is $137,700.00 - $200,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for annual merit increases based on performance. This posting is expected to close on 8 /3/24 or thereafter.
