Huntington National Bank Sr Doc Specialist - IF in Schaumburg, Illinois

Description

The Sr Doc Specialist is the subject matter expert for systematic (“Wi”) account setup and activation of new customer accounts, as well as ongoing maintenance of Wi accounts of existing customers. Working closely with the Onboarding and Credit teams, the Specialist is responsible for reviewing and ensuring accuracy of new customer Huntington Distribution Finance (HNB-IF) loan documentation packages, system of record data integrity and completeness of Know Your Customer information. The Specialist is also responsible for miscellaneous administrative and other duties and responsibilities related to onboarding new customer relationships.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Credit, Portfolio Control and Boarding teams on an ongoing basis regarding proper documentation per HNB-IF policies and procedures.

  • Validate all documentation packages submitted by boarding specialists are accurate and all requirements have been satisfied prior to account setup/activation/maintenance.

  • Communicate any documentation errors to the boarding specialists clearly and quickly, and work with them to correct/resolve errors and issues.

  • Responsible for setting up new accounts quickly and efficiently, ensuring the integrity of the system of record data.

  • General ongoing account maintenance (Wi, HAWC, physical files)

  • Assist in the completion of account reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with risk/legal policies and procedures

  • Perform other special projects, tasks, and initiatives, as required, to enhance the effectiveness of the Records Management and contribute to continuing improvement of overall company performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative role requiring acute attention to detail
