Misumi USA Sales Analyst- Industrial Digital Manufacturing in Schaumburg, Illinois

The Industrial Digital Manufacturing team is responsible for strategic & operational partnership to sales leaders, sales representatives, and cross-functional business partners to accelerate sales of ID Manufacturing’s meviy offerings. Within the inside sales team, the sales analyst is focused on driving high-value updates and outcomes across business operations, insights, process, and tooling. This position is responsible for facilitating incremental team productivity improvements to help ID deliver key business objectives and revenue results.

•              Collaborate with sales teams to identify, analyze, and report on key sales performance metrics such as revenue, conversion rates, win rates, pipeline coverage.

•              Develop, implement, and maintain robust sales dashboards that provide actionable insights to sales leadership and enable data-driven decision making.

•              Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of sales data, and identify and rectify any discrepancies or inconsistencies.

•              Define and refine the sales targets setting process, working closely with sales leadership and finance teams to ensure targets are ambitious yet realistic.

•              Analyze sales trends and patterns to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for sales process optimizations.

•              Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and finance, to gather and integrate relevant data for comprehensive sales reporting and analysis.

•              Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets, highlighting areas of concern, and proactively identify strategies to address performance gaps.

•              Provide regular reports and presentations to sales leadership and other stakeholders, communicating the analysis of sales data and recommending actions to drive sales growth.

This position requires 3yrs of experience in sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role.

•              Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Data analysis, Engineering, or related field.

•              Some knowledge of Mechanical components industry practices, techniques, and standards preferred but not required.

•              Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights. Determining a course of action based on guidelines.

•              Microsoft Office skills – PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills are a must.

•              Experience using SQL, and CRM (Salesforce and Tableau) to track and report activities preferred.
