As an IT Director, Infrastructure and Operations, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and supporting all aspects of our IT infrastructure and data center operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Information and Digital Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our technology environment across multiple business segments which include retail operations, distribution centers and sales offices across 44 locations. The ideal candidate will be a technology visionary with a strong background in infrastructure management, hybrid (Cloud and MSP-based) environments, and cross-functional team leadership in a matrixed organization.
How will you impact our organization as an IT Director, Infrastructure and Operations on a daily basis?
Strategic Planning & Implementation: Develop and execute strategic plans for the service desk, end-user computing, and enterprise infrastructure, aligning with organizational goals and ensuring optimal performance across all locations.
Infrastructure Design & Optimization: Define and refine IT infrastructure architecture and standards, focusing on disaster recovery, security, storage, and performance systems to ensure reliable and secure operations.
Service Desk & End-User Computing: Oversee the management of the service desk and field service teams, ensuring timely and efficient support for all end-user technologies, including procurement, imaging, and deployment of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
Vendor & Resource Management: Lead and coordinate a diverse team of internal staff, contractors, cloud service providers, and other vendors to manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure components, from installation to maintenance.
Cloud Solutions Management: Oversee the acquisition, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of cloud IaaS and PaaS solutions, ensuring a secure, highly available, and reliable environment that supports our business needs.
