Citigroup Credit Portfolio Sr Analyst - Hybrid in Schaumburg, Illinois

The Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for conducting credit reviews, credit approval and monitoring the portfolio to identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize appropriate data mining tools such as Statistical Analysis System (SAS), UNIX etc. to perform risk, financial and data analysis.

  • Develop insights and recommendations to highlight credit and financial performance, Collaborate with Risk Managers communicate performance trends

  • Research management requests using risk systems and data and support ad-hoc risk policy analysis and projects as required. Create crisp and succinct narrative to address management queries

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and work-flows by applying disciplinary knowledge and integrating subject matter and industry expertise within Risk Management

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of Financial Risk Analytics

  • Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a sense of urgency

  • Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects

  • Proven interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $144,600.00
