An Automation Controls Engineer is needed for a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, whose areas of business include pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare products, agricultural chemicals, seeds and biotechnology products in the Saxonburg, PA area. As an Automation Controls Engineer, you will program and troubleshoot advanced manufacturing technologies, conduct software validations, and collaborate with engineers to enhance medical device production.

location: Saxonburg, Pennsylvania

job type: Contract

salary: $39.51 - 59.27 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

• Implement advanced automated solutions to enhance medical device manufacturing processes.

• Develop detailed requirements and Validation Protocols.

• Build proof of concept and prototypes.

• Collaborate with engineers to meet expected quality levels in products.

• Conduct software validations following GAMP 5 guidelines.

• Participate in and lead code reviews.

• Ensure compliance with quality processes and standards.

Skills:

• Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting.

• Fanuc robotic programming.

• Cognex and Keyence machine vision programming.

• GAMP 5 software validation.

Education: Bachelor's Degree.
