Job Title: Maintenance Lead

Seeking a motivated Maintenance Lead to join our team. Will utilize their advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical theory to ensure all plant machinery functions at the highest level of efficiency. The Maintenance Lead will be the go-to for the plants most complex repairs. They will be required to lead and direct other technicians on a day-to-day basis.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Plan, lead, and execute repairs and preventative maintenance tasks on NHS manufacturing equipment.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on down or malfunctioning equipment.

  • Properly issue out stock repair parts to a work order using the Manufacturer Part #, Part description, and SAP part #.

  • Navigate and utilize variety of functions within Maintenance Management Software (SAP/Prometheus)

  • Able to use test equipment to detect equipment issues and/or defective parts.

  • Able to use hand tools and test equipment to include multi-meter, calipers.

  • Able to complete required maintenance records.

  • Able to read and understand equipment drawings and layouts.

  • Able to train and instruct lower-level Maintenance Technicians.

  • Provide work assignments to other department mechanics.

  • Distribute essential communications from management.

  • Assist management with GMP and Safety programs and processes.

  • Complete administered tasks related to engineering processes.

  • Act as the department representative in daily operating meetings when required.

  • Ability to coordinate the maintenance team to complete daily duties and ensure machine up-time.

  • Drive team to maintain preventative maintenance and utilization compliance.

  • Act as the acting supervisor when the Maintenance Supervisor is absent.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree, required

  • Minimum of 2 years general work experience.

Skills:

  • Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures

  • Ability to lift, kneel, bend over, squat, stoop and carry 50 lbs.

  • Have basic computer, math and mechanical skills.

  • Ability to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency.
