AMI Industries Quality Inspector in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan
AMI Industries in Sault Sainte Marie is looking for a full-time Quality Inspector. This position is for first shift and will start between $15.25-15.75 per hour depending on experience.
Benefit package is offered to full time employees after completion of 90-day introductory period which include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance and 401k. Along with paid holidays, paid vacations and paid sick days.
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Performs a variety of technical assignment that impact the manufacturing, testing, calibration, efficiency and application of the company's products.
Specific Duties:
- Performs incoming/receiving inspections.

``` - Performs 1^st^ piece inspection in all areas of the facility.

``` - Performs outgoing dock audits- utilizing gauges, micrometers and calipers. - Perform PPAP Packages, run at rates, and gage R & R studies. - Must carry out duties per IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 requirements
Required Training, Knowledge and Experience:
- Understanding of control plans and PFMEAs.
- In-depth knowledge of quality processes and terminology.
- Read blueprints for dimensions of components related to our products.
- Understands Excel.
