Role Overview: This position will complete inhouse classroom and hands on training to prepare for CDL behind the wheel test. Once CDL license has been obtained this position will be responsible to operate and maintain straight truck or tractor-trailer equipment to transport material to designated location in a timely manner. Will need to display a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members. May also operate loader to load material into truck box. This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year round. Minimum Qualifications: As a successful CMV driver trainee you will have: - Ability to obtain, hold and maintain a Class A or B CDL license in accordance with all state and federal DOT/FMCSA regulations - Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays. Duties & Responsibilities - Safely operate Class B truck to transport Concrete or aggregate to job site often times driving on uneven or unfinished surface. - Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
