Waste Connections Class 3 Truck Driver - Residential Side Load in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Location: Saskatoon

Reports to: Operations Supervisor

Compensation: Hourly/Incentive

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Loraas Disposal North, Saskatoon has immediate openings for a Class 3 Truck Driver – Side Load at our Saskatoon district. Our priority is to give our drivers a great paying career with great incentives! As a Residential Sideload Truck Driver (Class 3) , you are responsible for waste and recycling collection services in various municipalities. You will ensure that the waste and recycling collection is safely transported and disposed at designated transfer stations or landfills. This job requires works outside in all weather conditions.

As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date.

COMPETITIVE HOURLY RATE & INCENTIVES:

  • $27.50/ hour

  • Company Paid Benefits + RRSP Match

  • Be home daily! Monday – Friday

  • 99% of the time will be on road driving.

Qualifications:

  • Class 3A license required (1A preferred) with clear abstract.

  • Knowledge of Saskatoon and some driving experience, plus equipment operation experience preferred.

  • Clean Driver's Abstract

  • Minimum 2 years Class 3 driving experience- short haul/city experience preferred.

  • Hydraulic equipment experience, and/or farm background an asset.

  • Able to work both in a team environment and unsupervised.

  • Excellent logistical and organizational skills.

  • Good communication skills.

  • A criminal record check will be required.
