Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and service the concrete plant, including, but not limited to the conveying systems

• Operate and maintain various vehicles, machinery, small tools and other equipment used at the site

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with regulations and all company safety policies and procedures using appropriate tools and protective equipment

• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment

• Set / finish / break down retaining wall blocks

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge

• Must be willing to work varied hours and overtime as required. Weekend hours may be required

• Must be willing to submit to and pass a pre-employment, post-incident, random and reasonable suspicion drug screenings. Pallette Stone and the D.A. Collins Companies are Drug Free Employers

• Must be reliable and report to work by the designated start time

• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required

• Must wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as required by OSHA/MSHA and company policy and procedure

• Knowledge of concrete is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

• Position requires bending, climbing and squatting

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Salary Range $32.81-34.81

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
