What you will do:
The Social Worker LMSW provides advance clinical social work services, which may include diagnosis and psychotherapy, memorial services and group care to individuals who have suffered a loss. Work involves the use of sophisticated interviewing, assessment, and multi-modality psychotherapeutic interventions aimed at positively affecting the emotional functioning of patients and their families.
Responsibilities :
Diagnose and treat psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders
Provide specialized bereavement therapy for individuals, couples and families
Provide specialized bereavement group therapy for people of all age ranges
Participate as a grief counselor one weekend a year in a pediatric grief camp
What you will need :
Master's degree in Social Work is required.
NYS LMSW licensure is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical, Psychiatric, or Health Care setting
Pay Range: $30.00 - $43.08
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
