Espey Mfg. & Electronics Corp. Customer Service Quote Manager in Saratoga Springs, New York

About the job: Embark on a new career journey to shape the future as an Espey. The Customer Service Quote Manager is responsible coordinating a world-class experience for our customers from quote through purchase order phases. This role is the glue that binds the Bids & Proposals team together, has direct interface with customers, and collaborates cross-functionally between teams.

Customer Service Quote Manager Key Responsibilities including, but not limited to: Oversees and manages the creation, distribution, and tracking of sales quotes to customers Works closely with the sales team, program management and customers to ensure that quotes are accurate, timely, and aligned with the company's pricing strategies Initiates the internal quote process (RFQ) and acquires necessary information for accurate data submittal into Espeys ERP System Epicor. Assigns tasks and establishes due dates for operations and engineering deliverables and enters them in into Epicor, the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system Provides Security Screening on companies and individuals not listed as a Tier 1 company, in support of customer RFQs and orders. Liaises between Espey and customers in acquiring all necessary drawings and documentation in support of RFQs Leads the submittal of all engineering generated change orders associated with a product including securing appropriate internal approvals Leads the customer returns for evaluation and repair including constant communication and the quoting of these repairs. Initiates and schedules Cost and Price Review meetings in support of Espey quotes for customer RFQs. Completes customer forms and provides requested information Uses Customer Relations Management (CRM) software for entry and maintenance of Espey quotes in support of sales forecasting. Ensures quotations are delivered with all requested and necessary information. Interfaces with sales and program managers to ensure quoted value, probability of win and expected award dates are accurate in ERP and other electronic management systems Maintains certifications and representation documents for customers. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma Minimum 3 years experience with inside sales or customer service Minimum 3 years experience with ERP systems Must be US citizen with ability to secure a US Government security clearance; Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to export controlled data. Travel is required and dependent on customer needs; up to 10% annually Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business Operations, engineering or equivalent Experience in manufacturing or aerospace & defense industry Experience with Epicor 11 ERP Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
