Adecco Healthcare is searching for a Senior Accountant (Level 1) to become part of our client's team in Sarasota, FL . This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.

$80,000-$85,000

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Generally Accepting Accounting Principles (GAAP) - knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger.
Audit experience.
Financial Statement Preparations Experience.
Experience working with a company with $500 million in annual revenue.
Preferred:
Experience with Great Plains.
CPA license.
Experience with a lot of service lines.
Individuals who have great attention to detail skills, are tech-savvy and can work with a large amount of data.
Job Summary
The Senior Accountant (Level 1) is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and reporting of financial statements and other financial reports for the company and its Affiliates. This includes monitoring regulatory compliance for State and Federal tax returns, cost reports, and grants reporting, as well as managing the overhead allocation process and ensuring correct consolidation of affiliate financials. The role involves reviewing the work of general ledger accounting staff, ensuring quality assurance, and assisting with budget preparation and analysis. Additionally, the Senior Accountant handles various accounting tasks, such as reconciliations, accruals, cash flow monitoring, advanced accounting research, and internal control monitoring. They also maintain communication with internal departments and external parties, providing oversight and facilitating financial reporting accuracy and accountability.
