Jackson Hewitt is seeking a Seasonal Recruitment Coordinator to join the team in our Talent Team. Reporting to the Talent Programs & Attraction Manager, this role is an important part of the talent acquisition success for JH’s retail office locations. The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible to recruit Seasonal Tax Preparers and Customer Service Associates. You will be accountable for an assigned region and provide recruiting support to District Managers by developing and implementing staffing solutions to comply with legal regulations and company procedures.

This is an full-time seasonal role with anticipated start date of now – February 25, 2022.

What you'll do here:

  • Recruit seasonal field Tax Preparers and Client Support Associates for multiple districts of the U.S. to achieve optimal store headcount.

  • Partner with hiring managers to prepare for a job position to gain a solid understanding of not only the skills and educational requirements, but also to determine the qualities and attributes of a successful candidate for the specific team.

  • Post jobs and actively source, phone screen, and schedule interviews for hiring managers through various job boards (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Career Builder, Zip Recruiter, Glassdoor, Dice, Indeed, Handshake, Craigslist).

  • Review, edit, and refresh job requisitions in Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Dayforce, to obtain higher quality and quantity of candidates.

  • Coordinate the interview and new hire process between the hiring manager and candidate.

  • Actively network through Facebook groups, LinkedIn, and other social media recruiting by sharing job openings and creating a pipeline of interested candidates.

  • Establish relationships within the recruitment team, internal partners, and candidates to contribute to a seamless recruiting process.

  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities, including the ATS.

  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, always taking into consideration the candidate experience.

    Skills you’ll bring for success:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required with college-level training preferred.

  • 1+ year of experience in a recruiting or human resources department, preferably in a corporate retail setting.

  • Ability to analyze the staffing metrics to determine needs of the region.

  • Possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the field.

  • Versed in interview techniques (e.g. behavioral based interviews, STAR Method).

  • Basic knowledge of Excel a plus!

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
