Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety and the safety of fellow employees.

• Assist with required Pre shift meetings.

• Assist in training and decision making for all aspects related to production.

• Provide guidance and technical expertise in addressing process and maintenance related issues.

• Assist Supervisor with scheduling and personnel related matters on their shift.

• Responsible for the enforcement of all company policies and procedures.

• Ensure correct setup from startup and changeover events.

• Ensure proper function of production related equipment.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Ensure all employees are completing required documentation during shift for department.

• Record and ensure accuracy of production results into data system.

• Monitor, maintain, and improve peak efficiencies throughout the dept.

• Motivates and coaches’ employees through good communication and frequent performance feedback.

• Complete assigned task as required by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct employees.

• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

• Ability to climb ladders.

• Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 11 hours during a 12-hour shift.

• Ability to work in a dusty environment.

• Ability to work in team environment.

• Must have Thermoforming experience

• Capable of performing job duties with no supervision.

• Ability to read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operations, and maintenance instructions.
