Patient Services Representative - PSS - Outpatient

CareerStaff Unlimited is hiring a qualified Patient Services Specialist for afull-time,13-week contractposition with one of our most valued clients inSarasota, FL! $760/Weekly Gross

$19/Hourly

40 hours /Week

$200 Start/$200 Completion bonuses!

MORE ABOUT THEPSS POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for thisPatient Services Representativeopportunity include, but are not limited to:

• Answer all phone calls in a calm, courteous, and professional manner

• Identify and handle patient needs, while working in a team environment

• Collect and update new patient's demographic and insurance information; verify and update established patient's demographic and insurance information

• Schedule patient appointments accurately in EMR system according to established policies and procedures

• Submit patient messages through EMR system for prescription refills, medical questions, referrals, form requests or lab/test results, according to established policies and procedures

• Schedule appointment requests from the patient portal and process return mail in EMR system

• Submit appropriate and detailed documentation for patient appointments and patient cases in EMR system

• Maintain awareness of changes/updates by attending departmental meetings as required

• Verifying patient insurance

• Responsible for meeting or exceeding the productivity and quality standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PSS POSITION:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical front office experience - applicants with no medical front office experience will not be considered

• HS Diploma or GED required

• Background check and 10-panel drug screen with nicotine included

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
