Description

We are seeking a contract to hire Accounts Receivable Clerk for an onsite opportunity in Lakewood Ranch, FL.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Assist customers with billing and payment inquiries

• Ensure customer billing is accurate and prepared in accordance with the customer’s account terms

• Process customer payments precise and timely

• Process periodic deposits utilizing the Bank of America CashPro system

• Input and process credit card payments

• Resolves collections by examining payment terms, history, and credit lines

• Resolves account discrepancies with account managers and/or customer

• Review statements of accounts for accuracy

• Reconcile AR to the General Ledger

• Maintain accurate account records, reports, and spreadsheets

• Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential

• Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous AR experience

• Experienced working in an organization with multiple companies, divisions and/or locations

• Previous International accounting experience is a plus

• Proficiency in MS Office Programs

• Highly organized with a focus on superior attention to detail

• Proven time management skills focusing on urgent and overlapping deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
