Amazon Program Manager - Deals, BR Books in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Amazon’s BR Books Team is looking for a motivated Program Manager to support the Promotions & Events program.

In this role you will work directly with teams across Amazon to build successful promotional and thematic customer and on-site experiences.

You will be working together with local Deals & Events Managers, supporting the Deal & Promotion creation processes across both countries, execute experimentation and data deep dives as well as supporting merchandising efforts to constantly raise the bar on customer experience.

The Promotion & Events Program Manager will be responsible for supporting the long-term vision and strategy for the highly visible, trafficked and crucial promotion & events experience, which drives long term value for Amazon and is an integral part of all high impact activities.

The ideal candidate will bring a sharp analytical mind, have strong coordination ability and can roll up their sleeves to get things done. A customer-oriented mindset and good stakeholder management skills are crucial for this role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support and/or own processes and mechanisms around Deals & Promotions and act as the main point of contact for support and trouble shooting related queries for Brazil

  • Support and/or own local experimentation initiatives

  • Own merchandising initiatives and work with international teams to ensure a high customer experience bar on our deals & event pages

  • Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics and enlighten potential opportunities for program growth.

  • Establishing guidelines and best practices for the promotion space

  • Overall responsibility for the main promotion page, ensuring that it is presented to the highest standards, with the priorities of the customer front-of-mind. Ensure that the relevant departments are represented and that appropriate product selections have been made.

  • Creating and executing a long and short-term marketing/traffic plans that speaks to seasonal marketing strategies as well as long-term objectives, by partnering with internal marketing teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing

  • Merchandising experience
