Job Description

The Marketing Operations Senior Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the marketing budget for Latin America. This position ensures that the budget is strategically aligned with financial forecasts and organizational goals, while maintaining strict control and efficiency in execution. The Specialist will be responsible for providing advanced analytical insights, addressing budgetary deviations, and implementing effective methodologies to enhance financial alignment.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Latin America and coordinate with global Marketing Operations and Finance teams. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, combined with a meticulous approach to budget management, will be essential. A background in B2B technology marketing and a passion for technology will greatly contribute to your success in this position.

You will be expected to develop and maintain detailed reports on budget performance, support strategic planning, and offer actionable insights for informed decision-making. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that marketing activities are efficiently managed and financially compliant, contributing to the overall success of the marketing operations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Management and Optimization:

  • Oversee and optimize the marketing budget for Latin America, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts and business goals.

  • Track and analyze budget consumption, identify variances, and ensure compliance with financial policies.

  • Assist in negotiating and approving budgets for marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and financial objectives.

  • Address budget deviations, propose corrective actions, and implement methodologies to enhance financial alignment.

Strategic Planning and Financial Alignment:

  • Support the strategic planning of marketing activities and align them with the overall financial plan.

  • Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  • Implement and refine processes to improve operational efficiency and adherence to budgetary constraints.

  • Develop and apply new methodologies to enhance budget management and overall marketing operations.

Reporting, Analysis, and Insights:

  • Develop and maintain detailed reports on budget performance across different markets and marketing platforms.

  • Prepare and present executive reports that provide clear visibility into budget status and performance.

  • Support marketing leaders with comprehensive insights for informed decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Latin America and coordinate with global Marketing Operations and Finance teams.

  • Facilitate effective communication and alignment on budgetary and operational matters.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in budget management and financial planning, preferably in B2B technology marketing.

  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and Power Query.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to craft compelling stories to clearly convey complex information and insights across all organizational levels.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish with strong communication abilities.

  • Ability to develop and implement new methodologies in a dynamic environment.

  • Passion for technology and staying updated with industry trends.
