The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Amazon is seeking a talented, self-directed marketing expert to generate awareness and adoption of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) cloud computing platform in Brazil. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing business.

· The Field Marketing Manager is an integral part of the outbound marketing team who is responsible for delivering programs and will be the face of marketing for the segment sales team.

· Develop field marketing programs or tools that help acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers and deliver growth across key customer segments.

· Execute marketing programs designed to meet sales objectives include events, communication tools & demand generation activities.

· Provide input and assist in execution of programs to reach customer targets by vertical, and regularly communicate marketing programs and results.

· Develop a deep understanding of the business and act as primarily marketing contact with sales team and leaders, including regular participation in sales team calls, in-person meetings and Quarter Business Reviews.

· Leverage global marketing resources to fill sales requirements and find ways to invent and simplify to address sales needs without large budgets.

· Inform regional demand generation planning process with deep expertise of customer targets, sales strategy and pipeline to ensure greatest possible success of programs. Ensure that target customers are top of mind in all regional marketing activities.

· Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with Field Sales, Pre-sales, and Solution Architects teams to support their goals, working in conjunction with other marketing leaders in your geography and with peers in the corporate office in the US, increasing engagement with marketing and drive program support.

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering field-marketing programs that help acquire new customers and grow existing customers in all segments. This role must execute marketing programs designed to meet sales objectives include events, communication tools, demand generation and contact acquisition without large budgets. We are looking for an Amazonian able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the business and act as primarily marketing contact with sales team and leaders. This role will work directly with other marketing areas so teamwork skills are key. The right candidates must have strong experience in Marketing Planning and Execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 4+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Portuguese) with an innate attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Demonstrated problem solving capabilities in a complex business environment.

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions quickly with a bias for action.

  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.

  • A strong team player – comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders – field marketing, global marketing and sales teams.
