We are looking for a Sr.ITS Analyst , this is a Customer facing Development, Functional and Operational Support position for a Global Application that supports the regional Quality (the Shopfloor Online - QAS) which is a Manufacturing Execution Systems and requires a strong understanding of the Ball Business to be able to develop applications to business requirements and understand the impact of incidents or outages on Business people and their ability to perform their roles. This requires a customer focus ethic, good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels within the Business sectors.

This role will be responsible for implementing and supporting complex solutions that meet business needs. Ensures delivery of complex solutions by configuring and implementing to system specifications. Configures and enhances technology solutions that align with business needs. Ensures solutions are in alignment with the enterprise architecture blueprint, the solutions architecture, and ensures that systems and application designs adhere to standards and policies.

• To understand and think about Development, Functional and Operational Support on a global basis.

• Play a part in the integration of this team with the overall ITS GSD MES function.

• Play a part in the liaison of this team with all ITS Teams for Global GSD MES Projects and Support function.

• Build proactive and collaborative relationships with 3rd parties.

• Be focused on the Ball Core Values.

• To put forward ideas on continuous improvement measurements for the MES GSD function, including Ball associated metrics.

• MES systems solution design, create functional and technical specification definition for internal use and handover to 3rd party and vendors.

• Review of functional and technical specifications, testing, preparation for UAT.

• Implementation of approved MES systems change requests and enhancements.

• Understand the SLA metric and manage the priorities across the areas.

• Participates in efforts to elicit future systems requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis to analyse, design and implementation business solutions for complex business problems.

• Participates in efforts to communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (functional requirements (business requirements document), iii, use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs).

• Ensures the delivery of high quality technical solutions that meet business needs. Configures, develops, tests, monitors, and supports changes and enhancements to applications systems.

• Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative business solutions that challenges the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.

• Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the application portfolio and its correlation to the business tactical and strategic plans.

• Utilizes industry best practices where relevant to Balls future.

• Work closely with third-party vendors including software providers, implementation partners, and consultants

• Assist the team with user acceptance testing requirements for existing and new business systems and modules

• Manage the configuration and setup of related application solutions

• Supports all phases of the SDLC (software development life cycle).

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (completed).

• Development experience implementing solutions for complex systems support business processes.

• Fluent English.

• Professional Spanish.

• Proven business process knowledge of industrial line process production and functional areas, MES and Quality systems.

• Proven IT infrastructure knowledge, server OS, networks.

• Understanding and knowledge of interfaces and scripting for automated data file processing, Autogauge operation (e.g. TORUS, Versatile).

• Understanding of PLC and OPC operation is a plus.

• Knowledge of Database operation, ORACLE, MS SQL, SQL Query C# and general Scripting is a plus.

• SME, Subject Matter Expert for Ball Manufacturing Systems and line production processes.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus.

• Experience in communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (functional requirements (business requirements document), iii, use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs).

• Experience in driving process and technology re-engineering using industry practices e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, COBIT, ITIL, CMMi.

• Ability to negotiate with customers to promote or sell ideas or concepts.

• Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations.

• Ability to be flexible about project changes and dynamically mitigate risks in the moment with mid-course corrective action

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, complex projects simultaneously

• Has good analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

• Understanding of software quality principles, including test methodologies.
