What is the job about?

The Sales Engineer, IND position at Grundfos, based in our Santiago, Chile office (Quilicura), offers an exciting opportunity to improve sales and promote our industry products and services to industrial customers. Reporting to the Sales Manager, Industry you will play an important part in achieving sales targets and expanding our customer base.

Your primary responsibility will be to engage with industrial customers, whether directly or through various channels such as distributors, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), installers, and more. By leveraging your expertise in Grundfos products and solutions, you will assist customers to identify the most suitable technologies and systems for their specific needs.

Your technical knowledge and ability to understand customer requirements will be crucial in proposing customized solutions that optimize industrial processes, including water and energy consumption. You will also actively participate in product demonstrations, training sessions, and trade shows to showcase the benefits and advantages of Grundfos products.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Keep customer base up to date and develop it, including organizing activities and setting sales targets.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.

  • Gather market information on competitors and exhibitions.

  • Capable of bringing technical knowledge, adding sales value.

  • Keep the CRM and pipeline updated.

  • Track customer sales and provide yearly sales estimates (also in units).

  • Provide constant training on products and solutions.

  • Manage products, including list prices, forecasting, etc.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, Hydraulics, or Industrial Engineering (or a similar field).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in companies related to water solutions or other industrial applications (valves, automation, measurement equipment)

  • High technical and commercial skills.

  • Proficiency in advanced English skills.
