JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Modern Channel Sales Manager will lead, implement and execute all sales operations and tactics within an area. In this role, you will use your interpersonal skills to provide direction to frontline sales workforce professionals and supervisors. You will lead all aspects of sales operations activities for a portfolio of products or services within a broader geographic area.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Evaluate market potential and sales status.• Plan, organize and coordinate the sales operations of the company or organization.• Plan and organize sales programs, including sales methodologies, incentives, special campaigns and professional training for staff.• Understand the general industry in depth, as well as a deep knowledge of the local market.• Oversee daily sales operations activities, executing and implementing sales plans, vision and targets to achieve budget compliance.• Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.• Ensure compliance with EHS policies and indicators applied to the people under their charge.• Develop sales strategies focused on the profitability of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of supervisory experience
