Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Project Manager SCM.

What you’ll do:

Job Summary

The person in this position will be responsible to execute Complex and critical Projects spanning across multiple Categories / multiple sites / business ledgers / suppliers directly impacting the organizational goal achievement in resiliency, cost out and revenue protection. This role will also play a crucial role in ERP Process Standardization leading to Smoother project executions and implementations and will oversee the portfolio level process compliance management and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

A. Focus on ERP health, system configuration and optimization.

C. Project Management / Program Management

D. Report to senior leadership on the project Progress / escalations / roadblocks / feedback on regular basis.

E. Establish & maintain a strong knowledge management database which can be leveraged for SCM decisions.

F. Support ERP new projects in program management through data analysis, coordinating user technical reviews. r

G. Support teams with ERP tools and techniques. Give proactive alerts to project team members, Escalation POCs and senior leaders for Critical Paths and risk mitigation to avoid roadblocks on the projects.

H, The ERP project lead also provides training, guidance, and solutions to the local team that ensure both ERP Health, EBS requirements, and I. Plant Operational Performance (On Time Delivery, Days on Hand) targets are achieved.

J. The role is responsible for engaging in Continuous Improvement (CI) aimed at improving material flows, right-sizing inventory levels, driving desired customer service metrics and obtaining financial results.

K. Update risks assessment through SCM ERP Performance Maturity Index.

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Bachelor degree

Years and area of experience required

  • Comfortable in communicating and reporting to the senior leadership within the organization on the Project progress / review / roadblocks. / feedback on regular basis. Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Ability to communicate clearly & effectively in person, via e-mail and over phone. Proficient in the development and tracking of internal metrics. Strong project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from associates to the leadership team. Quick response to deadlines. Reporting and Analytics – Should have good experience on data analysis, report preparation and presentation to project team.

  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience.
