Description We are seeking a Tax Preparer to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. As a Tax Preparer, you will primarily be responsible for managing business tax preparation and conducting year-end accounting audits with clients. You will also interface with the tax manager and utilize various accounting software systems in your role.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the preparation of business tax returns accurately and efficiently

• Conduct comprehensive audits of year-end accounting with clients

• Interface effectively with the tax manager to ensure smooth operations

• Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, and Drake Tax Software for various tasks

• Employ Lacerte or ProConnect software in tax preparation

• Ensure customer service by resolving client inquiries promptly and professionally

• Perform data entry tasks related to accounting functions and allowances

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring accurate record keeping and taking appropriate actions as needed Requirements • Job title: Tax Preparer

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Must be familiar with CCH ProSystem Fx

• Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax is necessary

• Proficiency in using Drake Tax Software is a prerequisite

• Must possess strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Should have experience dealing with Allowances

• Excellent Customer Service skills are essential

• Must be adept at Data Entry tasks

• Knowledge of Deductible aspects is vital

• Experience with Lacerte Tax Software is a plus
