Amazon Sr Marketing Program Manager, Buy with Prime in Santa Monica, California

Our team’s goal is to help every business reach every customer in the world. Buy with Prime is a new way to extend Prime shopping benefits—including fast, free shipping, a seamless checkout experience, and free returns—to merchants’ own online stores, ultimately increasing selection for Prime members.

We are looking for a high caliber Program Manager to develop scaling mechanisms for our our co-marketing program and work closely with merchants on co-branded marketing campaigns. In this role, your primary focus will be to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to build out mechanisms and playbooks that will help Account Managers drive marketing conversations with their merchants. The goal is to scale the number of merchants leveraging Buy with Prime branding/messaging in their own campaigns. In addition, you will directly work with a number of merchants to develop co-owned marketing plans across their paid, merchant and Amazon owned and operated channels. Key job responsibilities

  • Build processes to help scale our co-marketing program to hundreds of merchants.

  • Work with internal teams and external agencies to build playbooks that Account Managers can leverage to drive marketing conversations with their merchants.

  • Drive co-marketing conversations and build marketing plans in collaboration with key merchants.

  • Build quarterly roadmap for all partner marketing activities and support account and campaign managers to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.

  • Work closely with external stakeholders to ensure co-branded campaigns stay on track and key inputs are provided by both agencies and external brands.

  • Build mechanisms for go-/no-go launch decisions in close collaboration with internal product and onboarding teams.

  • Develop KPIs and tracking mechanisms to measure program success.

  • Lead weekly stakeholder meetings and manage LT updates on progress.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; professional/non-intern work experience may be substituted

  • Program management in marketing function

  • Account or vendor management experience or experience in DTC

  • Experience with marketing channels (Display, Paid Social, Search, OOH, TV)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing and brand focused roles, driving multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior leaders, across functions

  • Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous start-up environment and driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
