Do you enjoy working in fast paced hospital in a switchboard capacity? If so, we are seeking for a medical switchboard operator to assist with an extremely high volume of calls in a hospital located in Santa Monica, Ca. The ideal candidate will have to identify and escalate priority issues and remain in a calm and effectively during emergency situations. Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Tuesday thru Saturday with Overtime and possible working during holidays when needed.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Randstad is seeking for a fast paced Switchboard operator to assist in one of the Medical Centers in Santa Monica, Ca.

• Ability to process routine and emergency calls

• Answer and process and screen all telephone calls

• Monitor and report various emergency alarm systems as well as triage and report all elevator malfunctions

• Ability to assist callers in a helpful and courteous manner

• Previous experience working in a call center environment/hospital environment

• Excellent listening skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in fast-paced setting

• Medical terminology
