Description

We are looking for a Media Billing Specialist for a local Advertising Agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in A/R, experience in cash applications, and a knack for using Excel to manage financial data. Experience with NetSuite is a plus. This role is essential to ensuring smooth financial operations and supporting our corporate accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Media Billing: Manage the entire media billing process, including invoicing clients for media costs, ensuring accurate billing, and resolving any discrepancies.

• Accounts Receivable: Oversee the A/R process, including generating and sending invoices, tracking payments, and managing overdue accounts.

• Cash Applications: Process cash applications, including deposits, applying payments into the system, and reconciling accounts.

• Aging Reports: Run and analyze aging reports to monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients on overdue accounts.

• Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients and ad agencies, addressing any billing or payment inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Documentation: Compile and organize financial documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the corporate accounting team.

• Excel: Utilize Excel for data management, reporting, and analysis to support financial operations.

• NetSuite: Assist with the implementation and ongoing use of NetSuite for billing and A/R functions (preferred but not required).

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable and billing, preferably within an advertising or media company.

• Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.

• Experience with cash applications and managing deposits.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
