At UCLA

Health, you can do all this and more with a primary focus in oncology patients.

Maintenance and review of patient medication profiles; reviewing and verifying

physician medication orders and patient medical record. Interacting with

healthcare professionals and providers to help promote safe medication use,

prevent inappropriate or misuse of medications; provide clinical pharmacy

services (e.g., pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic interchange, IV/PO

conversions, clinical protocols per pharmacy and pharmacist

interventions).

Schedule:

Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

Hourly

Salary Range: $85.87 - $100.58 (Union represented, step based salary depending

on years of experience)

Bargaining

Unit: HX-UPTE

Qualifications

We are

seeking an exceptionally-skilled and compassionate pharmacist with the

following qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree

  • California Pharmacy license

  • ASHP-accredited PGY2 oncology residency or at least a minimum of 1 year of pharmacy practice experience in oncology

  • Recent clinical oncology experience (within 5 years)

  • Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) preferred

  • Previous infusion pharmacy experience preferred

  • EPIC/Beacon experience preferred

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills

  • Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations
