Description We are seeking a Tax Manager in the public sector to join our team located in Santa Maria, California. In this role, you will manage tax return processes at both federal and state levels. Your objective will be to ensure the tax returns are completed accurately and on time, while also maintaining a detail-oriented relationship with clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise various tax engagements to ensure efficiency and profitability.

• Collaborate closely with clients to establish and sustain client relationships.

• Prepare business, non-business, and individual tax returns, ensuring their accuracy.

• Assist in the preparation, processing, and other accounting/consulting projects related to tax returns.

• Provide mentorship, education, and training to Senior and Staff level groups.

• Manage the tax return process, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations.

• Utilize skills in Individual Tax Return, Federal Tax Return, Corporate Tax Return, Estate Tax Return, and CPA to perform tasks efficiently.

• Monitor and review tax return processes for potential improvements.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice to clients. Requirements • Possess a strong understanding and practical experience in Individual Tax Return

• Proficient in preparing and reviewing Federal Tax Returns

• Have a solid background in handling Corporate Tax Returns

• Familiar with the process of Estate Tax Returns

• Hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
