Description

On behalf of our client, a large distributor, leader in their industry, we are looking for a business to business Collections Specialist. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial stability within the organization by ensuring the timely collection of customer debts.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monitoring and identification of unresolved debts on assigned accounts

• Conduct thorough research on account disputes and billing discrepancies

• Implement effective strategies to resolve billing and customer credit issues

• Regularly update account status records for accuracy

• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing collection activities and progress

• Develop and implement effective repayment plans for customers

• Manage and oversee all monthly customer payments and refunds

• Respond to client account inquiries in a timely manner

• Identify delinquent accounts that require external collection efforts

• Recognize potential bad debt or financial exposure and take appropriate action.

Requirements

• Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in a business to business Collections role

• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations.

• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
