We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail oriented & experienced Principal of Product Management for our Platform team. This role is crucial for our Construction and Engineering Smart Construction Platform portfolio. You will be helping to define our success & then executing in conjunction with other Product Managers across our business unit. Success will see our customers being able to interact simply with our Platforms. The ideal candidate will be a meticulously detailed planner with a solid understanding of SaaS platforms and can drive Agile best practices across delivery teams to ensure our customers receive the best platform experience they can across our broad range of applications.

Responsibilities

The Product Manager is responsible for defining & communicating the planning activities for the Product Development team engaging with the Director of Product Management, stakeholders across the business, and customers, to ensure successful product delivery according to quarterly objectives. They work with other Product Managers, the User Experience team and Development to help ensure success of each product and maximize overall return for stakeholders, whilst driving holistic outcomes for the Smart Construction Platform, and ultimately, the IGIU business.

As an overview, this will include:

  • Being the primary business contact for the development team.

  • Partnering closely with User Experience to research the domain and understand customer problems deeply.

  • Synthesizing, detailing and making clear product needs visible to achieve strategic outcomes.

  • Working directly with customers to understand needs, answer queries and get feedback.

  • Strong thinking, planning and tactical execution and the ability to manage and drive priorities across departments.

  • Help execute the product roadmap based on market and stakeholder feedback by being aware of scrum practices, for example: Backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.

  • Working with the UX and Development teams to deliver the agreed roadmap.

  • Gather and analyze metrics to ensure the product is successful.

  • End-of-life planning for products as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Roadmap Development:

  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for SaaS platform capabilities, ensuring seamless connectivity with Oracle products across multiple environments. Prioritize the highest value initiatives that enhance speed-to-value across customer-facing and internal systems.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align platform priorities with overall business objectives, ensuring efficient use of resources and seamless integration across all SaaS modules and third-party applications.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure that platform efforts are aligned with customer needs and platform capabilities. Facilitate integration between product features and customer systems, ensuring smooth product launches and post-launch support.

  • Communicate the platform vision, strategy, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and transparency.

Customer Focus:

  • Engage with key enterprise clients to understand their platform needs, challenges, and technical requirements, translating these insights into product features that enhance user experience.

  • Drive user adoption and satisfaction by prioritizing and delivering platform features that improve the customer experience, ensuring the platform integrates effortlessly into clients' technology stacks and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on platforms

  • Deep understanding of Agile

  • Willingness to drive an Agile mindset with various development teams.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS platforms and their applications in business applications.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
