Business Value Consultants are a critical part of Pega's strategic growth initiatives. What You'll Do at Pega:

  • The Business Value Consulting team works in conjunction with Sales Teams during the sales cycle and beyond into implementation. They support relevant business thought leadership, research and discovery activities required at different stages within the customer life cycle to define and refine the business value of Pega technology and solutions.

  • This role includes identification of business drivers (business challenges and opportunities) that will drive the business solution requirements. They will contribute to business architecture presentations by providing business and ROI/TCO assessments, helping drive sales cycles to closure.

  • This role covers multiple solutions and industries, and requires a strong ability to learn and gain competency in navigating a variety of domains and value streams.

What You've Accomplished:

  • You possess a business, finance and IT background that enables you to drive an engagement and interact at the highest levels of the enterprise. You have the business experience and financial understanding to easily communicate the economic benefits of cloud computing to C-Level, specifically the CFO. You will have familiarity with the sales process, and how injecting business value and economic discussions can help drive/accelerate the sales cycle.

  • You will also be deeply familiar with complex business and legacy IT environments, with quantifying and developing business cases to justify large scale business and technology investments, including creating detailed cost models for these environments. As a trusted adviser to both internal and external clients, you will be able to work closely withinmultiple concurrent teams.

  • You are comfortable in diving deeply into the detail on an opportunity and then feel comfortable moving on to the next opportunity rapidly – this requires the ability to understand the value that the role delivers to the target account teams and ensure that they deliver that specific value in as many opportunities as possible.
