We’re looking for an amazing Manager, Ancillary Revenue. You’ll be responsible for driving and optimizing revenue for these 5 key business revenue areas:

  • Co-branded credit cards

  • Princess Vacation Protection (Travel Insurance)

  • EZAir

  • Hotel packages

  • Transfers

By leading the strategic initiatives and intelligent business solutions across each business, we seek to increase our take rate and profitability in all five segments. This role will be the business owner and business advocate to drive these businesses and deliver on that expectation.

Responsibilities

  • Product Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and grow these ancillary revenue products: Co-branded credit cards, PVP, EZAir, Hotel packages, and Transfers. Ensure that all ancillary areas adhere to relevant regulations and standards, including industry compliance and customer protection standards. Ensure they align with guest preferences and industry trends.

  • Pricing Strategy: Analyze market dynamics, competitive positioning, and demand patterns to optimize pricing strategies and maximize revenue. Develop pricing models, and pricing recommendations across these lines of business.

  • Marketing Initiatives: Partner with Marketing to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote ancillary revenue businesses, focusing on guest awareness and conversion optimization.

  • Revenue Planning & Forecasting: Develop the annual strategic plans and financial goals for these products. Utilize data and analytics to forecast and track ancillary revenue performance, making real-time adjustments as necessary.

  • Reporting & Performance Analysis: Define key performance metrics and develop standard reporting that will allow you to continuously monitor performance status and adjust strategies as needed. Present key learning, progress, performance metrics to key stakeholders on a regular basis.

  • Leadership & Communication: Be able to develop and articulate plans to Sr leaders, keep key stakeholders apprised of progress, and lead project teams within a matrix organization. Show appropriate level of judgement when delivering info based on your audience. Set clear objectives, provide direction, and foster a culture that is open to innovation, and is results-oriented, with clear ownership and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in ancillary revenue management or a related field within the travel industry.

  • Strong story telling is a must, translating data into learnings that lead to decision making

  • Able to take an idea from conception to plan to implementation, delivering results within a given timeline. Proactively assess viability and prioritize all ideas with sound rationale.

  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth in a highly competitive environment.

  • Excellent financial acumen, P&L management, revenue & cost management

  • Prior experience in developing pricing strategies, pricing models, making pricing recommendations that drive incremental growth in net revenue

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.

  • Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint, excellent data analytics with experience manipulating large amounts of data.

  • Excellent leadership and project management capabilities.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Must be able to work autonomously with very little supervision. Self motivating and results-driven

  • Knowledge of the cruise and hospitality industry is a plus.

  • Master's degree preferred

  • Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, and/or Snowflake experience preferred.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

  • Base Salary Range: $83,200.00 to $112,300.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
