Nvidia Senior Technical Program Manager - NVIDIA Server Firmware in Santa Clara, California

We are looking for expert engineers to come and help design rack level solutions for next generation scaling AI supercomputing platforms.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and drive Firmware readiness within NVIDIA and across the ecosystem for server product lines including GB200 and next generation. Responsible for delivering Firmware for Scalable systems using NVIDIA server architecture to internal and external customers.

  • Collaborate with engineering organizations across the org to build a roadmap and release plan by gathering requirements, helping prioritization, scheduling and planning for all phases of the product life cycle and ensure it is delivered on time with quality.

  • Develop and track milestones and schedule commitments from multiple teams working together on firmware. Build and maintain dashboards to track quality metrics.

  • Work with various IBV vendors, OEM/ODMs for their firmware readiness for NVIDIA server product lines.

  • Communicate status in readiness, identify risk and work with management to mitigate risks.

  • Represent the server manageability team in various multi-functional meetings with Software, Hardware, Operations, QA, Diags, support and Solutions teams for NVIDIA server products..

  • You will bring in execution excellence for the team to excel in their day to day activities.

  • Work with a team to ensure accurate SDLC process is followed for all phases of product development, from product definition and architecture and design, through implementation, debugging, testing and early customer support.

What we need to see:

  • Must have hands-on experience with firmware development and process specifically for BMC/SBIOS development. Must have worked as an Individual contributor doing coding and design for server firmware

  • Being thorough and ability to multitask is important.

  • Willing to take on technical tasks like running tools to generate validation reports, going over debug logs and being able to have technical discussions.

  • Experience working with Cloud Server Providers and OEMs/ODMs. Experience influencing decisions and leading teams in a matrix environment.

  • Enthusiastic, responsive and passionate about finding opportunities for process improvement. It is important to have excellent communications and technical presentation skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to make programs successful. Strong problem solving skills, consistently successful implementing systematic solutions.

  • Expert in using project management tools like Jira or equivalent.

  • BS, EE or CS or equivalent experience with 7+ years of experience.

  • PM Certification/training a plus.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Consistent track record of delivering sophisticated programs over years. Deep understanding of software engineering principles and enterprise system architecture.

  • Previous experience with productizing enterprise server systems including experience of - coordinating activities between HW / FW /SW organizations is helpful.

  • Experience with productivity tools and process automation is a big plus.

The base salary range is 156,000 USD - 299,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
