An education technology company is searching for a Senior Software Backend Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract to hire basis. This company is moving to a new textbook provider and is working to get them integrated into their environment before next school year when students load up on new books. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will an integral part of scaling backend platforms, developing hands on architecture, and making a huge impact on the new textbook partnership. Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on Java coding experience
Proficient with Java frameworks, specifically Spring Boot.
Experience with building APIs and microservices from scratch
Cloud experience with AWS
Exposure with messaging tools, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with front end frameworks and JavaScript
