Your Career

The Partner Services Program Director is responsible for establishing and operating a program that ensures our global service partners are enabled to successfully engage and deliver services for Palo Alto products to their end customers. You will partner with cross-functional teams across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio and oversee a team of partner management resources who will ensure delivery quality. You will also engage with key Managed Service Provider partners and assess ongoing delivery performance and needs.

Your Impact

  • Oversee team of partner management resources (technical and non-technical), who are chartered with ensuring delivery quality, providing proactive guidance and aligning with partners on strategy and business development

  • Work with sales / channel teams to manage pipeline and qualify new partners; oversee services scoping for key deals

  • Define and enhance the partner program for Service Providers and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP’s), including incentive requirements, market positioning, etc.

  • Establish partner onboarding and enablement procedures and requirements; work cross-functionally internally to ensure all aspects of onboarding and enablement are in place

  • Establish partner program requirements for enrollment, including certifications, training, contract terms, delivery SLA’s & KPI’s and customer satisfaction

  • Report on partner services performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities and risks across the program

  • Serve as internal partner champion for the Services organization across the business, working collaboratively across services teams, sales, marketing and product to ensure alignment in program approach, flag risks/dependencies, and align with broader firm strategy

  • Establish strategic relationships with key partners and assess ongoing feedback; share input with internal stakeholders

  • Identify service capability and portfolio needs to enable partner delivery and outcomes

  • Ensure application of model across geographies

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large cross-functional initiatives

  • Provide clear, concise, transparent and insightful status reporting to the team, executives and a diverse set of stakeholders

  • Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation and learning

Your Experience:

  • 15+ years of partner program management experience

  • Prior experience managing and operating MSSP programs

  • Leadership skills and experience working in a highly cross-functional environment

  • Knowledge of technical support and/or professional services within the high-tech industry

  • Project Management or service delivery qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with channel leadership including Managers, Directors and Executives; as well as any other key partners or systems integrators engaged.

  • Ability to prioritize work within a demanding environment, consistently delivering results.

  • The ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences and to explain impact in business terms.

  • Knowledge of enterprise Security and associated environments used by enterprise customers.

  • Knowledge of Managed Security Services business and operational models.

  • Experience in building and operating XaaS / consumption business models

  • Prior experience in defining and rolling out operational processes across highly-matrixed organizations

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
