Aston Carter Event Setup Coordinator in Santa Clara, California

Job Title: Event Setup TechJob Description

The Event Technician performs conference room furniture set-ups for meetings and events both on and off site, working directly with the Conference Room Coordinators. The Event Technician is responsible for maintaining the serviceability and aesthetic integrity of all conference facilities, as well as equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conference room physical set-up

  • Setup or move presentation supplies/swag/event equipment

  • Assist with all campus set-ups

  • Support coordinators, customers and vendors regarding on- and off-site meetings and events

  • Provide field inspections of all conference room facilities to ensure serviceability of the rooms

  • Complete room setup process/trainings for all unique event spaces

  • Request, order, and maintain a working inventory of conference room furniture

  • Request, order, and maintain a working inventory of all setup equipment (Dollies, speedpacks, etc.)

  • Cross train with other site services

  • Support events as they are happening with leads

Work Environment

Minimum lifting requirement of 25lbs. The role involves setting up and maintaining conference facilities, working closely with coordinators, customers, and vendors. The Event Technician must be prepared to work both on and off site, supporting various events as they happen.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.86/hr.
