Job Description

A healthcare provider in Santa Clara, CA is looking for 4 Cardiac Monitoring Technicians to join their team!

Your responsibilities will include:

* Process, analyze, interpret and edit EKG data

* Collect recordings and patient symptoms as needed

* Facilitate activation of EMS, if indicated

* Accurately document actions taken within patient records

* Facilitate orders for monitors and supplies

* Obtain patient transmissions and related symptoms

* Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms/symptoms, and clearly communicate information to appropriate team member

* Ensure customer enrollment is entered correctly

* Address questions and educate patients, practices, and sales staff

* Fax serious and critical reports to practices and hospitals as requested

* Retain information that is job specific such as safety regulations and current policies and procedures

* Other duties as assigned.

Remote Eligible: Onsite for the 1st 6 Months, then 25% remote

- There is a program where if an employee works 4 hours outside of their normal schedule, they receive either a $25 amazon gift card OR a WFH day

Hours: 4x10s or 5x8s

- Employees create their own schedule! A month in advance employees go in and select which days they would like to work.

- Rotating weekend schedule preferred

* Day shift: 6:00am-4:30pm

* Flex option: 8:00am-6:30pm

* Flex option: 10:00am-8:30pm

Skills and Requirements

* 1 years of experience with a high school diploma

* CCT or CRAT certified (for level II, level I techs do not need cert) * High School Diploma

* Formal EKG education, whether a certificate from a school or third party certification

o CET (Certified EKG Technician) -- offered at some colleges and community colleges

o CCT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)

o CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)

* Working Experience in the Hospital or IDTF after receiving their CET or other certifications

o Hospital experience could be working in telemetry where they are interpreting what they see on the monitors and strips, then sharing that information with the doctors null
