Experienced Supply Chain professional, who monitors supplier performance, conducts on site assessments, and helps key suppliers in issue resolution. Works with management of key suppliers and coordinates across sites and functional boundaries. Coordinates the identification and resolution of risks / obstacles to ensure manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery schedules are in aligement with customer needs.
Role Responsibilities
Leads and influences a cross functional team to ensure supplier capacity and onboarding is achieved within the stablished timeline.
Keeps track of capacity assessments on all required vendors. Identifies risks and works with the Supplier Performance and Category Management team in the mitigation of such risks.
Ensures the completion of the onboarding process for all suppliers so all are ready to supply CMX F within the required project timeline
Provides regular project updates to leadership and the project team on supplier readiness status.
Support in the execution of onsite assessments with the critical buyers, quality, and engineering teams to drive supplier improvement.
Partners with suppliers to identify and remove barriers to the implementation of CI to improve on-time delivery and quality
Conducts production readiness assessments for New Product Introduction and rate increases, including capacity confirmation to ensure a timely ramp-up to production volumes.
Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
Coordinates across sites and functional boundaries to identify and resolve risks/obstacles in a pro-active and expeditious manner to ensure manufacturing, supply chain and delivery schedules are in alignment with project needs.
Requirements
University degree (engineering).
Graduate or Masters degree is a plus.
5 years of experience as a Leader in Sourcing, Manufacturing, Materials, Quality and Engineering areas.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Excellent presentation skills.
Proven record in leading cross functional teams, project management and NPI.
Knowledge on production capacity analysis, root cause analysis, problem solving.
