Robert Half is currently seeking 5 MDM Specialists for a deployment phase of endpoints for both Windows and MAC environments. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity for an MDM Specialist in Santa Barbara, California. The role is within the higher education industry and will require the individual to support mobile device deployment, assist in scripting with powershell or python, and have knowledge in AD or SSO authentication.

Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Duration: Ongoing contract through May 2025 (possible extension)

Responsibilities:

• Provide MaaS360 experience and support, including implementation when needed

• Facilitate mobile device deployment and enrollment support

• Leverage knowledge of JAMF Casper Suite, Jamf Pro, MaaS360, Endpoint Protection, and Endpoint Security in day-to-day tasks

• Utilize scripting languages such as Powershell or Python to improve efficiency and automate tasks

• Work with Active Directory (AD) and Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication to maintain system security

• Employ skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Computer Hardware, Database, and Dell Technologies in the performance of duties

• Manage Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, and Configuration Management

• Demonstrate proficiency in MDM Technologies for the management of mobile devices

• Maintain accurate records and take appropriate action on customer inquiries.

Requirements

Job Scope:

• Holder of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an MDM Specialist role or a similar position

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies and Citrix Technologies

• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware and Dell Technologies

• Experience with Active Directory and Apple Devices

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies and Configuration Management

• Proven experience with MDM Technologies such as JAMF Casper Suite, Jamf Pro, and MaaS360

• Knowledge of Endpoint Protection and Endpoint Security

• Experience with Single Sign-On solutions

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
