Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an MDM Specialist in the Higher Education industry located in Santa Barbara, California. The MDM Specialist will be responsible for supporting mobile device deployment, providing enrollment support, and leveraging their experience with various technologies to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Work with MDM Technologies, such as MaaS360, and potentially JAMF Casper Suite and Jamf Pro.

• Offer support for mobile device deployment within the educational sector.

• Provide enrollment support to ensure seamless integration of new devices.

• Leverage experience with Active Directory and Single Sign-On for user authentication.

• Maintain the security of devices through Endpoint Protection and Endpoint Security.

• Use scripting experience with powershell or python to automate repetitive tasks.

• Utilize experience with Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, and Dell Technologies.

• Maintain and troubleshoot Apple Devices and other hardware as needed.

• Utilize Configuration Management skills to manage device settings.

• Manage Backup Technologies to ensure data security and availability.

Please note that while experience with MaaS360 is essential, familiarity with JAMF, powershell or python scripting, Active Directory, and Single Sign-On would be advantageous. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an MDM Specialist or in a related role within the higher education industry

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Citrix Technologies is required

• Must have a solid understanding of Computer Hardware and Database systems

• Experience with Dell Technologies and Active Directory is desired

• Knowledge of managing Apple Devices and Backup Technologies is essential

• Demonstrable skills in Configuration Management and MDM Technologies is required

• Proficiency in JAMF Casper Suite and Jamf Pro is preferred

• Familiarity with MaaS360 system is desired

• Experience with Endpoint Protection and Endpoint Security is essential

• Must have knowledge of Single Sign-On systems

• A proactive learner with the ability to adapt and work in a dynamic environment
