THE OPPORTUNITY

Responsible for performing tasks associated with the warehouse lending collateral shipping and custodial process; including reviewing loan documents, validating note custodial certification and delivering collateral packages to investors, assisting in resolving shipping issues. Performs all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Receives incoming collateral packages and creates a file for the original collaterals received. Updates the collateral status

  • Prepares the bailee letter and collateral package for delivery to the approved Take-out investors in a timely manner.

  • Validates collateral loan certification and coordinates collateral shipment with note custodial company.

  • Assists in resolving issues in regards to original notes returned from initial investor and re-shipping them to new investors.

  • Engages in frequent communication with client post-closing department or note custodial company to obtain information needed to ship the files to the Take-out Investors

  • Prepares commercial real estate loan package for funding based on the check list of documentation required. Validates information on documents.

  • Assists with month-end funding’s as assigned.

  • Responsible for independently managing their assigned tasks and workflow items to satisfy set turn-time goals.

  • Identifies internal or external issues that may negatively impact turn-times.

  • Responsible for updating management of any pending issues delaying the shipments of the collateral in a timely manner such as missing allonges or incomplete collateral package.

The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one’s own actions and conduct.

  • Working knowledge of loan servicing activities and terminology.

  • Knowledge of title policies and related loan regulations such as RESPA, HMDA and other Bank lending policies on loans to directors.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

  • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.

  • Very good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions instruct others, train team members, write correspondence and procedures, and speak clearly to customers and employees.

  • Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.

  • Ability to work with little to no supervision while performing duties.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Two (2) or more years’ of related experience in credit or loan processing.

SALARY RANGE

The full-time base salary range for this position is 40,000.00- 50,000.00 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
