About being our Sr. Structures Representative

As ourSr. Structures Representative, you will utilize your expertise to oversee construction activities related to structural elements. You will also provide client management and new business development activities in partnership with the Orange County team.

Responsibility Highlights for our Sr. Structures Representative

• Technical Leadership:
  • Oversee pre-construction services, including bid reviews and bidding support.
  • Manage contract administration, monitor schedules, address claims, and process RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Ensure project adherence to approved plans, budget, and timelines.
  • Perform calculation and acceptance of temporary structures as used in construction of bridges and structures including falsework, temporary shoring, working platforms, temporary supports
  • Verify compliance with applicable regulations controlling work including CAL/OSHA and SWPPP
  • Lead daily coordination with clients, contractors, designers, and regulatory agencies
  • Supervise field construction staff and sub-consultants
  • Facilitate project delivery and resolve issues promptly and effectively

Minimum Qualifications to be our Sr. Structures Representative

• Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of California
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• 10+ years' construction management or project management experience
• 6+years' experienceof bridge and/or structural construction inspection as related to major public works projects
• 5+ years' experience as a Resident Engineer, Structures Representative or Assistant Structures Representative on major public works projects
• Caltrans experience preferred

• A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $175K - $230K/salary depending on experience.Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
