HNTB Senior Marketing Coordinator-A/E/C in Santa Ana, California

What We're Looking For

We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Santa Ana marketing team. As Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading pursuits from positioning, proposal development, and interview preparation for large and complex pursuits throughout California. You'll collaborate closely with pursuit teams and leadership in developing win strategies on the biggest and most exciting transportation projects throughout California and Nevada. This position will be remote temporarily and will require regular collaborative meetings in the office as requested.

Primary Focus Will Include:

  • Working collaboratively to manage capture, proposal and interview activities for complex mega pursuits

  • Support West Division Marketing Teams in winning new work

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possesses a strategic mindset

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs

What You'll Need

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Writes/leads qualification packages, proposals and leave behind material for the most complex and largest pursuits. Collaborates with technical staff and writes/reviews/edits original content for clarity, compliance and key messages. May mentor other staff.

  • Works with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and HNTB.

  • Organizes and coaches the technical staff in presentation phase.

  • Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings.

  • Supports client service teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, as well as participating in client service team meetings.

  • May coordinate division public relations (PR) activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for division newsletter, and coordinating project awards and other special PR-related projects.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or relevant degree

  • 5 years relevant experience
